Through education, training and experience even before starting the company in 1997, Paul and Patrick approach new and ongoing projects with "fresh eyes" to help homeowners reach their landscape needs and desires.
Whether asked to enhance a mature landscape, design and install around an addition, attack neglected overgrowth, or just improve maintenance, they assess the situation with the customer's ideas and budget to develop attractive solutions using sustainable methods and materials, and a wealth of knowledge about drainage, plants and hardscape materials.
Paul has education in soil science, horticulture and nutrient management from UMD, MC's Landscape Tech program and yearly seminars and workshops since shared with Pat who has years of experience with plant materials, stonework and even building trades. Paul is an MDA Certified Horticulturist and licensed Pesticide and Nutrient Applicator (required since 2013). The company is well insured, including Workmen's Comp, and pays its workers above the minimum wage.
